So how does the judging process work?
Once you have submitted both your application and the power point awards entry (please see specifications below) your entries will be submitted to PEX Network’s unique committee of industry expert judges.
To ensure fairness in the judging processes, all judges are a neutral and hand-selected panel of industry only experts for Lean, Six Sigma & BPM. All judges mark your application based on a pre-defined set up judging criteria for each award category ensuring that the judging approach is fully standardised and direct comparison between entries possible.
From this, 4-6 finalists will be selected for each category and these finalists will be announced at the beginning of November. All selected finalists will continue to the next round of face-to-face judging.
Face-to-face judging round
The integration of the face-to-face judging round ensures that judges garner a full in-depth understanding of your program or project, this making it not just a competition of 'the best powerpoint' but the best program, people and results.
Face-to-face interviews are hosted at the 14th Annual Process Excellence Week, Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Orlando, Florida. Interviews will last 45 minutes in total and companies are allowed up to 3 team members present. Following the interviews the initial scoring against the judging criteria will be re-assessed before the winners and honorary mentions are decided.
Awards ceremony
Winners will be publically announced at the 14th Annual Process Excellence Week, Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Orlando, Florida. The Awards Ceremony will start at 5.30pm directly following the last conference session of the day and is open to all Summit attendees.
Following the official ceremony an awards drinks reception and party will take place to celebrate. For more information or to book a ticket please contact are awards team on +44(0)207 036 1300 or email enquire@iqpc.co.uk.
