The awards are a sure-fire way to invigorate your program and ensure team commitment; just take a look at some of the honest feedback from this year's judging panel and winners.
“While I know we run a good Process Improvement initiative, the confirmation from external judges that let me know our work stands up well with competitors like Wal-Mart, Dominion Energy, Bayer Corporation and the U.S Army lets my Board and our owners know that we are being good stewards as we operate the business.”
Rod Hill, MBB, JEA – Winner 2011 Best Green Improvement Project
“Applying for several years and then winning the award was very satisfying. We appreciated and utilized the feedback that we received in the various categories to improve our approach and projects. The whole process really mobilized our organization and motivated us to improve even more then our plan. The final recognition that we received had an energizing effect at all levels of the organization that more effectively engaged both our employees as well as our leadership team.”
Chuck Aubrey, 2010 Winner of Best Process Improvement Project in Manufacturing, small-midsize organizations.
“Those that go through the entry process do a great self assessment, they get to look at themselves in a the mirror and get a true reflection of how they are performing against other programs”
John Douglas, VP, Hess – 2010 Judge
“Winners not only get the prestige that goes with an award, but the employees feel honored to have worked on a project like this, and the customer are able to say – this is a company I want to do business with”
